URGENT: War Criminal on the loose in London. Stop the B-Liar!

An urgent message from Stop the War.

Tony Blair is on the comeback trail to rehabilitate his political career. Help give him the welcome he deserves when he speaks at Arsenal Stadium on Wednesday 11 July: War Criminals are not welcome here... or anywhere except at the International Criminal Court facing war crime charges.

More details on tonight’s anti-B-Liar protest here. Do try and make it to the Arsenal Stadium if you live in the London area and try and spread the word as widely as you can. Don't forget either, that there is a reward for anyone attempting to make a peaceful citizen's arrest of the former British Prime Minister and serial warmonger.

UPDATE: On the subject of Tony B-Liar and his planned comeback, don’t miss this great piece from Lindsey German over at CIF.

And for the most naïve piece I’ve ever read on Blair and his motivations, here’s Ed West, writing in the DT.
(HAT TIP: Media Lens Message Board)

Blair had nothing to win from Iraq.  He invaded Iraq because he thought Saddam was a monster who should be removed
Yeah, right…..!!!

One could argue that President Obama has taken George W. Bush's war strategy a step further by expanding the use of drone attacks.

Many Americans expressed concern over the drone killing of US citizens Anwar Al-Awlaki and Samir Khan in Yemen in September of 2011.

It was most likely an awkward moment when Samir Khan's family received a condolence call from the State Department.

When I've asked you in the past if President Obama is a war criminal on the matter of Libya, you've said something to the effect of "Hmm...well...maybe." Do you consider President Obama to be a war criminal on the basis of drone strikes in multiple countries? If so, why? If not, why not?

Hi Douglas,
"Do you consider President Obama to be a war criminal on the basis of drone strikes in multiple countries?"

Yes- (and please read Seumas Milne's Guardian piece on those recent drone attacks- I'll post a link later),but his crimes are still dwarfed by those of Tony Blair, who not only invaded Iraq illlegally, and on the basis on an outrageous lie, but also played a prominent role in the illegal bombardment of Yugoslavia in 1999.
Far from showing any remorse for his crimes, and the immense human suffering he has caused, he's still warmongering, this time against Iran.

Hi Douglas,
Here's the link to the Seumas Milne piece on the drone attacks, as promised.
