Democracy - Garton-Ash style

Here's my response to Timothy Garton Ash's attack on those of us who don't share his definition of 'democracy' as being the West's right to interfere in foreign elections to achieve pro-EU,
pro-NATO governments.

Can we have this blog's view of Zimbabwe please? Life expectancy in Zimbabwe is now 36. But he is Tony Blair's least favourite African leader and has his share of bogus Socialist credentials. Does he qualify as an anti-New World Empire insurgent or not?

For this blog's view on Zimbabwe, have a look at the posting of 23rd Febraury 'How to spot a politician in Zimbabwe'. I think that makes it quite clear.

I agree with Neil - Mugabe is definitely a part of the New World Order, with all the attendant butchery and enslavement.
